Purpose The purpose of this activity is to remove debris from the highway that could cause a driving hazard and provide a right-of-way that is free of large debris, reasonably clean and aesthetically pleasing. Maintenance is responsible for pickup and disposal of bags and debris from the Adopt-a-Highway cleanup.
