WebSep 13, 2012 · Have been here three times, and always mean to visit the visitor's center, historic Ft Fisher sites and the aquarium, but just can't leave the beach! The beach "at the end of the road" here is so much better than the crowded sites closer to Wilmington and Carolina Beach. Keep driving past Carolina Beach and go all the way to the aquarium.
