The net sale proceeds are used to purchase books, media, furnishings and equipment needed to ensure that our libraries remain among of the top mid-size county libraries in North Carolina. We have a wide variety of books and media at our book sales: history cookbooks WebBy raising funds and providing volunteers, the Friends of the Library makes the difference between an average library and a great library! In addition to many volunteer hours spent at the library, the Friends of the Library purchase equipment, DVDs, children's books, adult books, books on CD, and materials for children's programs.
