Webasymmetrical thrust is really better avoided in the F-14. I fly F-14 with TWCS too and I never found myself needing to control the engines separately. It may seem pedantic, but the TM Warthog is literally a "true HOTAS". I fly >90% in VR, and can make use of the off-HOTAS switches/buttons just fine.
