Pull the pressure plate off of its locating dowel pins and toss it in the trash. Pull the clutch disc off as well. Use a 19mm socket to remove the eight flywheel bolts. I have -04 e46 with m47 engine and transmissions are made by GM. Last week I changed whole transmission with torque converter.
