Did you know your natural essence is to be kind? However, we live in a world where showing kindness isn't the norm, and it easy to get discouraged. You find yourself asking "Why should I be kind to them when they aren't kind to me?" Does it even matter?
It does matter, it matters to you, and it matters to the people you're touching with kindness. Your innate self wants to be kind. By honoring this intuitive part of yourself, you raise your positivity, and it spreads out into the world. Now you'll attract others with the same positive energy, and that makes your life brighter!
When someone's treating you poorly, you don't have to stick around and get "beat up." You can merely bless their lives while not engaging in their ugliness. This way you're showing kindness by sending love, prayers and positive thoughts from afar - and this helps them!
You never know an individual's inner life unless they understand it themselves, and they're able to share it successfully with you. They could be suffering from issues they've never dealt with, and it's not up to you to "fix" them, it's up to them to do their inner work. When they show up for themselves, their own life transforms, and your relationship will mend.
Your higher self is always calling you to take the first steps to lead by example and be kind. With time, your beautiful spirit will shift the energy of all those around you.
I challenge everyone to consciously do one random act of kindness each day for a week, even if it's just opening a door for someone; and see how your kind consideration shifts your energy and the energy of the people around you.
Showing kindness does make a difference to you and others!
If you feel like emailing a note and letting me know how this goes, I'd love to hear from you.
Have a great week!
